Vintage Tudor Oyster Royal '3-6-9-12' Small Rose Dial (Ref. 7934)

Unique 1966 TUDOR Oyster Royal ref. 7934.

Straight from the 1960' comes this beautiful Tudor/Rolex watch made in 1966. The case, case back, bracelet, and crown are all stamped Rolex; only the dial and clasp carry the Tudor logo. As sporty dress watches go, this is a prime example of the under-the-cuff subtlety combined with a characteristic presence thanks to the Oyster case and bracelet. Additionally, the 34mm size makes this the perfect unisex watch for those who dare go against the current "bigger is better" watch approach.

• CASE: Classic stainless steel Oyster case from Rolex with signature 19mm lugs and screw-down crown (twin lock) as well as the patented case back marked "Original Oyster Case By Rolex Geneva".

• DIAL: This is a silver dial with some patina and a beautiful small Tudor Rose below 12 o'clock. The dial combines numeral 3-6-9-12 markers and baton markers with Alpha hands. The dial is marked 'T Swiss T'.

• MOVEMENT: The movement is a Tudor 1156 manual wind with 18.000 A/h, 42 hr power reserve, and 17 jewels. The movement was serviced by the previous owner in 2020.

ALTHOUGH THE ROSE ON THE DIAL SIGNALS THIS IS A TUDOR WATCH, IT IS ABSOLUTELY ON PAR WITH ROLEX OYSTER PRECISION, AND OYSTER DATE WATCHES FROM ROLEX IN THE SAME TIMEFRAME. THE WATCH WAS RECENTLY SERVICED AND IS SOLD WITH AN ORIGINAL TUDOR BOX - NO PAPERS.
