This classic dive watch from 2007 has been a favorite of mine for many years. It's the Omega Seamaster 300 M Chronometer with sword hands, from before the Bond versions with skeleton hands and dotted indices were introduced. The reference number is 2254.50.00.
The watch is build with the high level of quality you would expect from Omega, it's precision is amazing and the it oozes quality when you hold it. It's a very compact watch to handle, while the crown is still solid, the movement of the hands is smooth and precise. The watch comes with, what is to me, one of the best bracelets available: it is solid, with extension hidden in the lock and very comfortable, even over several days of wear or while sleeping. This watch is as elegant a tool watch as they come.
The watch has few signs of wear or tear, the lume has patina but not much, and do not fear, the dial absolutely shines after only little sunlight when it b comes dark. The dial has waves which you have to see in sunlight, preferably with seawater running of the crystal. The bezel is tight, functional and without scratches and hasn't faded.
If you would like to shake things up, the watch also comes with the Omega Spectre NATO strap, it's soft and flexible although you will never doubt wether or not the watch is still there. I actually think it goes very well with this particular Seamaster version! This is a watch you will not regret investing in, it's a solid entry ticket to luxury watches and will not let you down.
